APPLYING TO THE SELECTION

  1. FIRST STEP: to the online registration to the admission competition, candidates must be registered at University Portal for the submission of the online application form (Enrolment on Continuing education programs). 

    To the submission of the application form candidates should:
    • be registered at University Portal and have the credentials (username and password) to access the MyUniTO (Login). If candidates have never studied at the University of Turin (UniTO), they must register as “Futuro studente” (prospective student), following the Portal registration instructions.
    • submit the application by filling in the online application form. For the submission of the online application, candidates need to access the area MyUnito (selecting the item “Login” on the home page) and do authentication with credentials (username and password). Select the item “Preiscrizioni ai corsi ad accesso programmato" to go on with the online application form. During this phase candidates are required to fill in the personal data inserted during registration phase.

    A pre-matriculation number will be sent.

  2. SECOND STEP: the online delivery of required documentation listed below, must be submitted using the dedicated Google Form (available at the link Google Form and at the Master’s website www.coffeescitec.unito.it) no later than 1 p.m. CEST on Friday 31st October 2025. The candidate will need a Gmail account to use Google Form.

PLEASE, BE AWARE THAT THE TWO STEPS ARE COMPLEMENTARY; NOT COMPLYING WITH ONE OF THE TWO INVOLVES EXCLUSION FROM THE SELECTION.

The applications and documentation received after the above deadline will not be processed.

Italian and foreign citizens (nationals of EU and non-EU countries) who have an academic qualification awarded in Italy must submit the following documents together with their application:

  • Copy of a valid ID card/passport, legible and duly signed.
  • Copy of the Italian fiscal code (codice fiscale).
  • Updated European Curriculum vitae, including details of all academic qualifications.
  • Self-certification of the university degree, including marks and ECTS assigned to each exam.
  • English language Proficiency Certificate – B2 First or higher (if available and mandatory before the matriculation). Alternative documentation for a B2 level of English or higher may be considered by the admissions committee on a case-by-case basis.
  • Letter of recommendation (if available).
  • Two minutes presentation video.
  • Any other title that the candidate intends to present (certificates, publications, etc.).

Applications may also be submitted by candidates, of all nationalities, about to graduate in Italy (application under condition). In this case, the admission to the program is conditional on the candidate submitting, by 30th April 2026, a valid certification of the obtained degree. If this does not happen, the candidate matriculation will automatically be nullified.

Applicants applying under condition to attain their Italian master’s course, must upload a self-certification including transcripts of records with grades, weighted average and credits related to their master’s course and their bachelor’s degree.

EU citizen or non-EU citizen who have an academic qualification awarded abroad must submit the following documents together with their application:

  1. Copy of a valid ID card/passport, legible and duly signed.
  2. Copy of the Tax identification code, “codice fiscale” in Italian (Tax identification code - How to get it).
  3. Updated European Curriculum vitae including details of all academic qualifications.
  4. Original/certified copy of foreign degree(postgraduate degree for 2nd level continuing education programs), provided with:
  5. a certified translation into Italian (the translation into Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish), and one of the following verification systems/certificates:
    • Statement of verification (“Attestato di verifica”) issued by the Italian ENIC-NARIC centre CIMEA;
    • Apostille[1]/consular legalization[2] (if required, depending on the foreign country where the document was issued);
    • Direct verification: as an alternative, it is possible to ask to foreign Institution/University to send the required documents to the International Students Desk directly to mastertitoloestero@unito.it by means of an official email address or an official certificate verification system adopted by the foreign HEI/University, so that the office can verify their authenticity. Please make sure to ask to foreign HEI/Institution to include the “referente master” ghirardello@unito.it in cc of the above email.
  6. Original/certified copy of the degree program transcript of records (postgraduate degree), issued by the foreign Institution/University, including marks and ECTS assigned to each exam, provided with:
  7. a certified translation into Italian (the translation into Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish), and one of the following verification systems/certificates:
    • Apostille/consular legalization (if required, depending on the foreign country where the document was issued);
    • Direct verification: as an alternative, it is possible to ask to foreign Institution/University to send the required documents to the International Students Desk directly to mastertitoloestero@unito.it by means of an official email address or an official certificate verification system adopted by the foreign HEI/University, so that the office can verify their authenticity. Please make sure to ask to foreign HEI/Institution to include the “referente master” ghirardello@unito.it in cc of the above email;
  8. If a Diploma Supplement in English is possessed, provided with apostille/consular legalization (if required) or Direct verification, this document may be presented as an alternative to both documents listed above [(4) postgraduate degree and (6) transcript of records, only if the transcript of records is included in it)
  9. Copy of undergraduate degree and copy of undergraduate degree program transcript of records (to better evaluate the academic background).
  10. English language Proficiency Certificate – B2 First or higher (if available and mandatory before the matriculation). Alternative documentation for a B2 level of English or higher may be considered by the admissions committee on a case-by-case basis.
  11. Letter of recommendation (if available).
  12. Two minutes presentation video.
  13. Any other title that the candidate intends to present (certificates, publications, etc.).

Please be aware that the University of Turin reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to request further documents if necessary for evaluating your educational background.

If not all the required documents listed above are available, but the candidate holds a valid qualification to enrol in the Master’s Course, an enrolled under a provisional status (“ammissione con riserva”) will be carried out, and all missing documents will have to be submitted within one month from the end of the course (which is identified with the first session of the graduation exam).

Therefore, if you do not hold all the required academic documents for the enrolment and for the credential evaluation process, make sure to include at least the following ones, which will be then sent by the “referente master” to the International Students Desk:

  • Original/certified copy of foreign degree (postgraduate degree for 2nd level continuing education programs), provided with a certified translation into Italian (the translation into Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish).
  • Original/certified copy of the degree program transcript of records (postgraduate degree), issued by the foreign Institution/University, including marks and ECTS assigned to each exam, provided with a certified translation into Italian (the translation into Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish).
  • If a Diploma Supplement in English is possessed, provided with apostille/consular legalization (if required) or Direct verification, this document may be presented as an alternative to both documents listed above (postgraduate degree and transcript of records, only if the transcript of records is included in it).

For non-EU candidates residing abroad only:
If the chosen continuing education program received a positive feedback, make sure to apply for a study visa at the competent Italian Embassy/Consulate via Universitaly website following the instructions given by the “referente master” and available at the Master’s website  www.coffeescitec.unito.it.

If candidate do not provide the competent office or reference person (“referente master” in Italian) of the Master’s Course with all missing documents within the deadlines, you will only be granted a certificate of attendance and tuition fees will not be refunded, according to the Regulations on continuing education programs (Regolamento per la disciplina dei Master Italian version only).

However, the possession of the entry requirements is mandatory at the time of the application deadline.
